I cried. I cried so hard I could barely see my ballot to fill in the ovals. I pulled it together long enough to mark every single one, and then inserted my ballot into the machine -- I was the third one counted! Once I got to magic Section 103, I pretty much had to stay there. I took one comfort break early on, and zipped out and back in as quick as I could. I wasn't carrying the right pass at all. Don't ask how they let me in in the first place. I think it had to do with my texting Matt while walking through the checkpoints and telling the guards that I was looking for my friend and waving my iPhone around as if it were some sort of magic pass. When I finally got the stadium, I headed up to the 5th floor where my assigned seat was--the nosebleed section. I sent out a text to various contacts there. I'm going to Denver for the last day of the Convention and will be at Invesco Field to watch Obama give his Acceptance Speech!
