- I was born and raised in Seattle. I have three adult children, 2 grandchildren, with a third on his way, two step grandchildren. My husband and I lived in California, Colorado and most recently, 12 years in Chicago. I have worked as a Dental Hygienist for over 30 years. I love my profession.
I also enjoy arts and crafts such as knitting, jewlery making, toll painting and recently Native American style wood carving.
I became involved in the 5th Dems because of Barack Obama's call for grassroots involvement and Thom Hartmann's encouragement to join the Democratic Party. I came out of curiosity first and then quickly realized that I'd found a group of people with whom I had something in common.
