- Hello All -- My name is Karen Gorrin and it is my great honor and joy to have been elected a delegate for Ms. Clinton not just once, but twice. I grew up close to Hillary's hometown in suburban Chicago, and I am deeply passionate and committed to helping her become our next President. I have always wanted to be a delegate to the national convention (since I was a little girl, it's true!) and I can think of no greater time for this experience than now. I am a lifelong Democrat with a strong history of supporting progressive candidates at the grassroots level. When I'm not campaigning for Hillary, I work as a psychotherapist in private practice in Bellevue. I also facilitate group dialogue and conflict resolution sessions for nonprofit and corporate-types, with a focus in developing healthy teams. These skills have already been useful in this process -- at my precinct caucus I successfully led a dialogue that resulted in Hillary winning an extra delegate! Helping people to identify their core values and beliefs, and supporting them to act congruently on those values and beliefs, is one of my strong talents. I look forward to bringing these skills to the convention floor in Spokane and Denver! I am also looking forward to getting to know all of you better, and invite you to contact me directly any time. Working together, Dems will win in November!
