- I am a country lawyer, mom, and Boy Scout leader married for 34 years to a Scoutmaster/engineer. One of my sons is a doctoral candidate in engineering and the other is a chef. I have helped families find affordable legal solutions for over 30 years. My life-long passion for the Democratic party began with my grandmothers, one of whom was a lawyer. We are fortunate this year to have two excellent Democratic candidates, but I believe Barack Obama has the best chance to beat Senator McCain and begin the process of making our federal government accountable to the people, finding and implementing solutions for the people of this country, embracing and accepting science instead of politicizing it, and getting us to a responsible end to the Iraq war. I would be honored to be selected to go to the National Democratic Convention to be part of making this happen!
