And Now We Start
Hello! I'm Jim Baum, the newly appointed [ I did get one vote. Granted, it was my own write-in but King County says I was elected :-) ] PCO for the Francis Precinct in Maple Valley, Wa. I'm a self employed private building inspector and I live on what is left of the Maxwell Dairy Farm. I am the non-custodial parent of a wonderful 17 year old daughter who lives in Seattle with her moms. Baseball is the only sport I follow. Hiking, Snowboarding and wondering what the heck is going through the heads of Republicans, and why I have to be impacted by their insanity, takes up my leasure time.
I've commented on numerous blogs for several years but this is my first attempt at starting one. My hope is to create a vehicle for my neighbors to make direct imput to the Democratic party. I promise to pass along the things I hear without edit. I do believe everyone has the right to express their opinions but I also [ I'll never be able to use the word also again without thinking of Palin] will not hesitate to remove posts that are uncivil.
And so, on this last day of the Bush Administration [thank Dog], we start.
